Mid-Century Modern Kitchen


In a creative collaboration with Cocoon Home Thorn Architects undertook a complete redesign of a mid-century kitchen in Lafayette, CA. The clean lines and contemporary amenities respect the original aesthetic of this modern gem. Appliances are hidden behind custom panels. A large island centerpiece houses deep drawers for storage and serves as the hub for entertaining as well as day-to-day family life. Original soffits of exquisite old-growth redwood seamlessly connect rooms throughout the home and frame views to the gardens.
